Earthworker Reclaim Heat Pump Hot Water System
We are focusing on the market leading Earthworker made Reclaim heat pump system in our bulk buy and have managed to secure some great pricing. It features a ‘Made in Morwell’ stainless steel storage tank (15y Warranty) and high performing CO2 heat pump. It is an ultra efficient hot water system that uses 80% less energy than standard electric hot water, and is eligible for three government rebates. Install as a standalone hot water system or couple with Solar PV for a ‘virtual battery’, and help Earthworker’s Latrobe Valley worker-run factory create new dignified renewable energy jobs.

Reverse Cycle Heating and Cooling
RMS Heating and Cooling has built a great reputation over the last 25 years, offering high quality products paired with fantastic customer service. With a quick turn around on installations of all products, RMS has been paramount in the delivery and install of numerous reverse cycle heating and cooling systems around the metro Melbourne area for the past 25 years. They also decommission gas appliances and are ARC authorised to safely decommission old refrigerant based heat and cooling systems to ensure no escape of harmful gases into the atmosphere.
Reverse cycle air conditioning use heat pump technology that in winter acts as a heater by drawing heat from the surrounding outdoor air and moves it via a heat exchanger into the air going into your home. In summer it does the reverse, acting as a cooling system to pull heat out of the air in your home and put it outside. It can be run using electricity generated by rooftop solar, whereas gas and wood heating has no renewable energy alternative. You can make a big difference to climate change by combining this efficient heating and cooling with solar.
The Daikin Alira has a sensor known as ‘Intelligent Eye’ which can either direct airflow towards you or away from you for draught free comfort. It also detects movement in a room and places the unit in an energy saving mode when no movement occurs in the room for 20 minutes, then resumes the original settings when you re-enter the room. It is capable of connecting to your wi-fi internet for a small additional cost. This unit also has a weekly timer you can set up if your activities outside the home are regular (work, school or sport for example) and it has a quiet mode for use at night time in bedrooms. The smaller models on offer can produce around five times as much heat or cooling as the energy they use, so they are extremely efficient and cost effective.
